MCP / Agent Tools
Let compatible AI agents discover and invoke approved Syper capabilities.
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a standard way for AI-agent environments to discover and call tools. Syper’s agent tools are designed to expose approved capabilities — such as checking a balance or making a payment — as MCP tools.
A Syper MCP server has not been published. This page describes the intended design.
API, SDK, and MCP
- API
- The underlying programmable interface.
- SDK
- A language-specific wrapper around the API.
- MCP
- A standardised agent/tool interaction layer. The agent sees tools; Syper sees authenticated API calls.
How it works
Discover
The agent environment connects to the Syper MCP server and lists the tools available to its credentials — only those its Agent Account is permitted to use.
Invoke
The user asks, “Pay the charging station.” The model selects the payment tool and supplies arguments.
Enforce
Syper authenticates the agent and checks permissions, policy, and spending limits. The model’s decision is a request, not an authorisation.
Report
The tool returns the result to the agent, and the outcome is recorded in activity.
