Webhooks

Build and operate a webhook receiver.

Receiver architecture

  1. Terminate HTTPS at a stable public URL.
  2. Verify the signature against the raw request body.
  3. Store the event keyed by its ID; ignore duplicates.
  4. Respond 2xx immediately.
  5. Process from a queue — for example, mark an order paid on payment.completed.

Testing

Use the Webhook Tester to send sample events and replay failures.
