How accounts are opened, verified, restricted, and closed.

Accounts move through a lifecycle. Your integration should handle each state, because what an account can do depends on it.

2. 2Verified
3. 3Active
4. 4Restricted
5. 5Closed

• Opened — created but not yet verified; capabilities are limited.
• Verified — identity checks have passed.
• Active — can use the products it is approved for.
• Restricted — some or all capabilities are paused, for example pending review.
• Closed — no further activity; history remains available.
