Environments

Sandbox for testing, production for real money.

Syper provides two isolated environments.

Sandbox

Simulated money, test identities, and triggerable events. Safe to break. Use it for development, CI, and demos.

Production

Real accounts and real funds. Requires completed onboarding and verified webhook endpoints.

Data, credentials, and webhook endpoints do not cross environments. An API key created in the sandbox is rejected in production.

Going live checklist

1. Your integration passes end-to-end in the sandbox, including failure paths.
2. Every write request sends an idempotency key.
3. Your webhook endpoint verifies signatures. See Webhooks.
4. Production keys have the minimum permissions.
5. Agent and device credentials have spending limits. See Agent Account.
